THE CREATIVE FUTURE PROJECT
![]()
The Creative Future Project was founded in 2011 with the intention of starting a worldwide art project meant to inspire and lift the creative spirits within. Creative Future is currently released biannually, featuring some of the most inspiring and creative artists in the industry. We believe in the beauty of art and with willingness to learn, we continue to explore the unknown in search of new and inspiring creative knowledge from some of today’s leading creators and creative thinkers. Striving to explore new ways of thinking and creating, we weight quality and craftsmanship very high. We do not consider The Creative Future Project another art and design magazine, but instead a creative art project, which is not only a curation of creative ideas in art and design, but also an artwork in itself. Each copy of Creative Future is meticulously put together by hand, assuring no compromises were taken in the creation process. With very few and limited releases each year, we believe the Creative Future Project is something unique and special. We hope you feel the same way.

About Creative Future Issue #03:
The third issue of Creative Future has finally come together and we’re excited to share what months of hard work has done for us around here. For this third installment we’ve released more in-depth articles, interviews, and features that provide glimpses into the minds of some of world’s most talented artists and creative thinkers. We see this project as our own special gift to you, the reader, a unique piece of artwork meant to uplift the creative spirit in all of us and hopefully inspire more to become part of this global movement towards creativity. In order to keep with this vision we’ve come out with arguably our most talented and vibrant line-up thus far. We try to challenge ourselves and develop more within each issue in search of a higher quality product, and we’re confident enough to say that this issue meets all of our expectations.
Last time we paired up with street artist Aaron De La Cruz, and for this issue we’ve continued in this trend and worked with main feature, Craig Redman, also known as Darcel Disappoints, as he takes us through his journey in becoming an artist and the concept behind his famous one-eyed character. Darcel works out of New York City and uses it as the main source of inspiration for his work, documenting everything from lonely, inconsequential and embarrassing experiences, to personal chronicles of his daily endeavors in New York. Besides that, we also used this unique opportunity to collaborate with Darcel Disappoints and longtime French notebook maker Calepino, on a custom Darcel Disappoints sketchbook, to follow each individual copy of the issue.
Finally, we also had the chance to sit down with other known artists in the industry, including Japanese-born Haroshi of the famous skateboard sculptures you’ve likely encountered through the web, Jasper Wong of the famed street art and graffiti event Pow Wow Hawaii, New York-based photographer Andre D. Wagner, and scientist-turned-artist Kelsey Brookes.
Creative Future is slowly but surely gaining momentum. We’ve learned a lot through our short time making this publication, but we’re continuing with our mission to deliver the most comprehensive and high-quality publication there is in the art realm. That being said, it is a pleasure to present, Creative Future Issue #03.
